Hello, friend. I'm so glad you wandered in. Pull up a chair and let me tell you why Goodies Covey exists — because every little shop has a story, and ours starts with a bird, a grandparent, and a whole lot of miles in between.
Goodies Covey is a place for grandparents and grandchildren to create together — even when they can't be in the same room. Every kit, every letter, every little surprise we send is designed to close the distance and open up a conversation.

The Origin Story
How Goodie's Covey Was Born
Or: what happens when a grandparent gets creative ✦
It started, like most good things do, with a feeling. The feeling of wanting to reach through the phone and squeeze your grandchild's hand. Of wishing a video call could somehow smell like fresh crayons and sound like little fingers tearing paper.
Toni had grandchildren who lived out of state. She was a serial entrepreneur with a deep love for art, craft, and handmade things — and she started putting together little packages to mail them. Not expensive things. Just the right things. Things that would give them something to do together, even apart.

The packages became kits. The kits got names. The grandchildren started calling her "Goodie" — and somewhere in there, Goodies Covey was born.
A covey, in nature, is a family of quail — cozy little birds that stay close, travel together, and look out for each other. It felt exactly right.
Goodie's Covey exists to nurture children's hearts, minds and imaginations through stories rooted in nature, kindness, and belonging.
We believe that childhood is a sacred season - meant for wondering, roaming, listening, and dreaming. Through small - batch, thoughtfully created stories and offerings, we seek to encourage curiosity, honesty, courage, and compassion.
All profits from Goodies Covey are returned to the Covey itself - investing in the dreams, talents, and creative paths of the next generation. As our littles grow, so shall the offerings.
